Hey-o,
I recently have acquired several pairs of Phlogiellus sp. and I am in love with them! Nearly not enough available in the U.S. hobby. I am aware of their husbandry requirements BUT I have read a few interesting statements I would like to ask those who are more familiar with the genus about. Someone had alleged that females die shortly after laying their sacks. I believe this not to be true. Has anyone experience this before?
I just had a Phlogiellus sp. dapitan (2") drop a sack several weeks ago. Now I have a small quanitity of spiderlings. I, however, was not around to catch the gestation period since this female was bred prior to receiving. Does anyone know the average gestation period?
If anyone has a breeding report or any helpful insight, please let me know. It would be most helpful. They are doing wonderful in the incubator with a high humidity and temps around 26c.
