Phidippus sp. in AZ

Anybody know what species are found in AZ. My buddy cought me one today and none of the pictures I've seen look close enough It has Metalic blue/green chelicera, white bands around the legs and an orange triangle on the abdomen.

sounds like audax to me. black, with white banded legs, orange triangle on abdomen, metallic green chelicerae. yeah... prob immature female too.

Well if you want a list of all the species in Arizona....I don't thnk anyone here has one lol. I'm sure there are TONS of species out there.

As for your spider, it sounds like a Phidippus audax like everyone else here has said. They are gargantuan jumpers(as far as jumpers go...) and very common throughout the US.

I just found 4 females while ripping bark off dead trees! First time I've ever seen em on my campus. They're awesome animals!
