p/regalis cage ventalation

hi, im having some problems with mold in my p.regalis sling enclosure, i added more ventalation holes just a few mins ago but im also wondering if it's where im keeping it. it's enclsure is currently in a cupboard away from cats. is this ok?

If you have mold, you are keeping the spider way too humid. And yeah, the ventilation is probably part of the problem. I've never had mold and I'm keeping species like T. blondi...

Poecilotherias basicly like it try, as long as you keep a waterdish there. Though, I like to mist them once a week (rain!).

Edit: Oh, you were talking about a sling. Mist it 1-2 times a week and that's it. If you try to keep the humidity high, it only causes problems.

i mist all my Poecilotheria's 1x per week...try adding orchid moss or beaked moss...i cover the floor with it and have had no mold issues...
