I have 2.3 adult ghost mantids and I'm interested I'm creating a communal setup to try and breed them. Currently, I have a pair in a 12"x12"x18" planted Zoo Med enclosure. The other 1.2 should have enough space in that enclosure...I believe. My question is: will this species tolerate other adult males in the same enclosure? Will two adult males fight over a female? Next, one of the separated females has already been mated (I was able to witness them) but she later ate her male cagemate...which was my fault for putting them in too large of an enclosure and her not getting enough food. Since she has already mated, can she be included in the communal set up? Any additional tips or help would be appreciated. I've read the Orin book, Keeping the Praying Mantis, along with doing some online research, I haven't seen much other than hearing that as long as they are similar instars they should tolerate each other.

Thanks,
W. Smith
