how much longer can it survive if i buy it?

caz i found it's max size is bout 5 inch.now is already 4''.
i don wanna spend my money buying an Old Baboon.

An OBT can easily reach adult size in less than 2 years, and can probably live at least 10 years(female). I'd say that spider probably has a good 8 years left at least, if it's female, that is. At 4" the seller should be able to guarantee sex, or at least take a decent stab at ventral sexing. If they cannot, I would be suspicious.

If it's fem then you ok. If it's male, then I'm guessing two years max???
