Hey guys, just found a mantis ooth in my school. It seems very heatlhy, and not dry. I believe it's mantis religiosa, but I'm not sure. I'm asking because if it's not an mantis religiosa ooth, and I over winter it, it might die. there's two possibilities as far as I know, the mantis religiosa and the sphodromantis viridis.. The shpodromantis doesn't need overwintering while the religiosa does. I think. I glued it exactly how I found it (including the stick).
PS : 6 hours of school really effects my English grammar damn. IMG_20170922_124948.jpg IMG_20170922_124941.jpg IMG_20170922_124851.jpg

I don't know what it is but I'm fairly certain its not mantis religiosa. They tend to lay their eggs on the undersides of stone, brick walls, or other flat surfaces. Also looks to big to be religiosa. But it doesn't look like sphodromantis viridis either.
