On the subject of keeping records...

Do you keep records and what is your method?

I have one t. I keep a record just for my own information. Some times it is nice to look back on. I have only 3 columns: date, event (food, molt, or behavior), and disposition (prey eaten quickly, not was clean).

Nothing wrong with the old fashioned approach, but if each animal and each action had scannable barcodes and regular backups were done, I believe the approach would be more advantageous. Plus I'm a big data nerd and the more the better to spot trends and make predictions via something like Pandas and Python. This will probably be my summer project.

I like that barcode scanner idea. :)

Beep select spood then use cheat sheet. Beep for molted.

Would prevent accidentally applying something to the wrong specimen and remove the need to type.
