This picture is of a wolf spider I found in my garage years ago. I came home from work and saw something large struggling on the ground. I went to see what it was and it was a wolf spider that couldn't really walk. I picked it up and observed the spider. Before this, I had no idea what a big spiders face looked like. The eyes looked crazy and I could see the spiders mouth parts. I had a new appreciation for them at this point. I offered the spider water and it crawled on my hand for a while moving slowly. I am not sure what happened to this spider, maybe it had some kind of pesticide exposure. This is one of the many situations which sparked my interest for arachnids and I'm glad I still have this picture.
