See that first picture looks like a death curl to me. Tarantulas do some strange poses post molt, but that's not one you want to see for a prolonged period.

I'm sorry for your loss, I hope you make it a good learning experience.

Would you please post a picture of your other tarantulas' setup? If there's something that could use some adjusting, it might save another tarantula.
