New Spider

    does this qualify as a "true spider"?

    where in BC you from? im in the okanagan

    As near as I can figure out it's not a true spider. It's still a Mygalomorphae but it's from Nemesiidae family. Which makes it more closely related to the trapdoor spiders than tarantula's. Though I may be wrong and if I am I'm sure someone here can correct me.

    It definitely isn't a trapdoor spider it makes a serious amount of web and hasn't even tried to burrow in the slightest bit. It can't climb the walls of the critter keeper it's in very well.

    I'm in greater vancouver currently but I grew up in the kootenays.
