So I went with my girlfriend on Friday to the monthly meeting of our local herp society and ended up with a free baby snake. She's a "mud" morph California Kingsnake. This morph occurs naturally in the wild. She's quite the looker and a nice contrast to my adult male, who I believe is some variety of high white morph. Camera flash makes the white look more intense than it actually is. He's a bit more of an off-white, cream color. I adopted him a couple of years ago from the herp society and they had no information on his morph as the person who relinquished him did not provide any. We named the new girl Mudkip and the male's name is Neil.
