Just finished trying out a repurposed cheese ball container, id say it worked rather well. :D 20170304_194652.jpg

Yeah, trying to find an alternative but there's no one in my area with cork. :/

EDIT: I'd order online but I like to look/touch/pick out the cork I use in person.

I KNOW the feeling. I rarely order online, there's a couple places that are pretty good at picking out good stuff. Bean Farm is one, been using them for online cork for about 20 years

The other problem with grape wood is that it sometimes decays into dust (seriously).

I know how you feel; I can get cork bark on Amazon but i prefer to wait until i can buy it at a show.

Where are you in Kansas? Can you make it to a Repticon?

Interesting. Looks like I have to take out the grape wood from my enclosures. I bought them at Petsmart (heat treated).

I'll have to check that out. I'm in central KS so just about any of the shows are in range. :D

id really try to replace that with something that it can hide behind near the bottom. my Psalmos never really use the top top of their cages like my avics. tehy always prefer a sort of burrow behind something.

Plan to but right now I'm in a position of that or nothing, the local supply or cork is really slow given there's only 1 store that carries it and theyre having issues. :/
