Need help with Id

Found this spider on the side of my house. It was rather large (1.5 in.) for Illinois standards. The webbing was pretty strong and quite a bit of it. Had a funnel web for its hide.

Could be in the genus Hololena. It's spinnerets look pretty short which is characteristic of Hololenas.

definitely not hololena. it's already far too large at 1.5" Also too far east :p Hololena is a southwest genus that prefers scrub and chaparral.

Considering the region you're in, IMO, it's likely Agelenopsis pennsylvanica

Thanks, didn't notice the size :p and should've looked up where they are first before suggesting it.
