I took a 10 gallon tank divide into two sections. And put about 4-5 inches of play sand in each with a decor rock, a hide mostly buried in each for them to dig, and small water tray. The sand is moist so when it dries they both can borrow. I'm gonna get a Hadrurus arizonensis in one and a Vaejovis spinigerus in the other. Will they both be happy in the sand? I read somewhere on the net that Vaejovis spinigerus rarely was found in sandy places. Does anyone else have both of these guys on straight sand?
Thanks again ahead of time guys.

I currently have both on straight sand, and have watered just under a third of the surface of the substrate and let dry. The V. spinigerus have built nice small burrows below the surface and underneath overturned small terracotta plant saucers.

Thanks man!!! Now all I have to do is let the tank regulate itself and then add scorps.
