I just got a new addition! It's a dune scorpion!

It is my first scorpion and a lot of people have said that they are horrible for beginners, so far it has gone well though. It ate a cricket at the store and once I had rehoused it.

Are you sure that is not a Hadrurus arizonensis? Can you take some more images of it?

Yes I am sure. It is way too translucent. It also has no "hair." Here is another pic:

It has completely blocked off its burrow under the cork bark. Do you think it's in pre-molt?

Added some clay sand and it has made a actual burrow. It also ate a couple weeks ago, so that’s good.

Really? It has only eaten a few times, but then again, it is a scorpion. It seemed to have gotten fatter yesterday. I guess that that is a good sign then.

The burrow had collapsed so I had to dig the scorp out. It seems that there wasn't enough of the clay sand. I may completely get rid of the reptisand and only use the clay sand.
