Our B. Albo molted a couple days ago, and I was able to snag his molt. I've been suspecting he's male from looking at his ventral side and comparing it to pictures, and now it appears to be so. I see no flap between those upper book lungs. He's a boy, isn't he?

I'm not super experienced, so it's a little hard for me to tell on yours, but here's my female B. albo's last molt:

The flap was present. It seemed flat at first, so I double checked by using a needle to lift the flap. Was yours just outright flat? Hopefully this helps a little!

Oh, wow. The needle is an excellent idea. I just tried that. There appears to be no flap.
