Molt or not to molt that is the Q

my stripeknee hasnt eaten in a while and today I just seen him stretching his fangs is he in premolt or fasting? He hardly moves and his temp. is 70-82F and I have a water dish in there.

Could be premolt..just make there is plenty of fresh water for the T. I dont worry unless they start to loose weight...and every week or two try to feed him, if does not not eat take the food out right away..

Not eating doesn't exactly mean pre-molt if you look you'll notice your smithi's butt is pink when its going into it's pre-molt stages you'll notice the pink being swallowed up by black when the abdomen is totally black it means its gonna pop any day. My B. smithi is in its pre-molt stages now and has just a small pink spot left but its getting smaller and smaller by the day. I'd give mine at most another week before molt hope this info helped.
