For mole crickets you can put them on moist peat or cocofiber. They like to eat that dead organic stuff while burrowing around so occasionally drop fish food, veggies, etc onto the surface and it’ll come up to eat.
If it's a male he might get a little noisy. I think they build like tunnels in the wild that kind of act as an echo chamber where he sits and 'sings' and that attracts females from all over. Not sure if he'd do it in captivity but if he starts randomly singing that might be why.
