I am about to get a Greenbottle Blue soon (hopefully will be here tomorrow from Swift's), and have a question regarding moisture. I know that they like a dry environment, but as it will be a 1'' sling it will not need a dish...so should I still occassionlly mist the substrate to he can drink some of the moisture from there?

Thanks.

You are correct, just mist the substrate once or twice a week, leaving a part of it dry so that if the spider doesnt want to be near the moisture, it can just stay in the dry area.

I have a GBB that is now a little over 2". About once every week or two I will even get a water dropper and put about 3 or 4 drops of water on its web. Sometimes I actually get to see it drink. If you mist make sure there is enuff ventilation so that the water will evaporate and not cause any mold.
