Mites?

Hi everyone, a little while ago I bought a baby corn snake and a juvenile fat tail gecko and I may have found evidence of mites on both. I could not get a picture of the gecko but I will try to get one tomorrow. This is the corn snake. Does anyone have any thoughts? I hear that mites appear as small black dots.

Provent-A-Mite -- costly but so effective (and safe if you follow directions).
My Ball Python purchased at Repticon a few years back came with mites....

I kept mine on white paper towels so I would know when the mites were completely eliminated. It worked great!
