millipede is opening back end and placing the 'yellow insides' onto a flat surface?

they seem to sleep like this and i have 6 ivorys currently and only one displays this behaviour?

Could you explain what is happening in more detail? I don't understand what you are asking. A picture would be even better if you can get one.
Also, this should go in the Myriapods sub-forum next time. This one is for insects, gastropods, etc.

i dont have a camera or camera phone unfortunately but its like the hole they poop out of is opened up against the floor and its wet and yellow then it just stops moving until i or another pede brushes past it

Are the anal "flaps" open for extended periods of time?
They leave them open sometimes after they lay eggs.

I believe they also do this to regulate humidity (e.g. water absorbtion if humidity is low or airing out if humidty is too high).
But since only one of them is doing this, I'm not sure.

Have you seen it poop?
It could also be a sign that somethings stuck or anal prolapse (if the anal gland is forever sticking out).

it died and i put it in the garden when i left later it was covered in black worms like swarming so maybe parasite im not sure?
