mealworms in a dish

Instead of just dropping the mealworms in I tried puting several of them in a small dish, so they wouldn't be able to bury themselves in the substrate, just taken a look to see if this was working and found 1 Emp sitting in the dish, with two in its mouth and at least 2 in each pincer, surrounded by the other Emps trying to grab a mealworm, but he was doing all he could to stop them getting any, just wish I could of got a pic of that.

LOL...What a hog! Actually, I've seen others post similar comments. As for myself, I just pinch the head of the mealworm before laying it down. This too will keep the mealworm from digging itself in. The bottom line is, whatever works best for you! Congrats on the success of your experiment. No better way to learn. :clap: :worship:
