Male or female?

New to scorpions, AFS here, any input on sex from this picture? I’ll guess female. I really don’t know though

Yep, i think she is.

Im pretty sure this is a male. Long feathers on pectines and rounded shape of genital opening indicate male.

You know the more i compare i'm starting to think it's a male as well.

Are the life spans on a male much shorter like with a T?

I can't speak for every species, but I know Emperor scorpions and AFS males live just as long as females. My friends male Emp. actually outlived his female by over a year.

I think its a female. The feathers are very small. How big is it? When they are smaller it is harder to tell.

Her last molt it was about 4 1/2 stretched out from claws to stinger so she's probably 5 1/2

Exuviae are tan, but they still glow under UV light.
