Me too, I was afraid to walk down a hallway at work named it spider alley, started watching a video on snake breeding just because I wanted to know how, went on to dark den, Tom Moran then reading anything as I found them fascinating. Got my first one A. avicularia, and have 4 now learn more every day but the fear is gone! Can watch the orb weavers at work instead of running shrieking spider help!

I used to have Arachnophobia, but was instantly cured when I almost died in a car accident. However, I do have PTSD because of the car accident and a phobia of the dark and of cars. I'm using a technique called Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to work through my fears. It's really helping so far. I'd imagine a similar thing could be done for arachnophobia.
