Lobster Roaches now FL legal?

So I went on to a well-known and legit company's website and noticed they sell Lobster Roaches. I also noticed they sell to Florida.. I thought this was a mistake and sent them an email asking if they were allowed to ship these to FL. They responded back with "yes" and that they posses all permits necessary to sell these to Florida residents...

I've had lobsters for a while now... but I was just wondering when did this change? Thought it was a no no here in FL?

None of these laws make sense. You can buy lobster roaches in FL., but you can't buy non-native beetles or snails anywhere in the US, even in Ohio where I live. Like tropical species are really going to be a problem in OH. It's just stupid.

I agree... the laws are just made out of fear.

Anyone know much about a new possible change to the legality of Lobsters in FL?

Me too... joshs frogs are willing to ship to FL though.... weird

I've found that some fairly established dealers will tell you something's legal just to make a sale. They know the chances of getting caught are fairly slim. Buyer beware.
