I have 3 P. imperator's, and I just noticed on my 2nd biggest one that he/she has little flat "feet" on her underside. They touched the ground when I had him/her on the floor for a while, but usually they're up when she's in my hand. I looked at the scorpion anatomy and dont see them? What are those things?

Those hair comb looking structures on the underside are the pectines. Check out the anatomy thread near the top of this forum.

They are sensors that are used to sense vibrations for prey location. Next time they are chasing after crickets watch the scorps place them on the ground...they do do it at other times but I have noticed they are much more activ when searching for prey.
