    Hi,

I think my Large Claw/Israeli Gold Scorpion (Scorpio Maurus) may be dead but I'm not entirely sure.

It has been lying in one place for the past 2, nearly 3 days with it's tail laid out flat, except for the stinger portion of the tail which is slightly curved up.

I know that that position is a common death position in scorpions and it is also quite tense but it has yet to start smelling.

    Thanks in advance.

Try to flip it upside down with your tongs/chopsticks/any stick. If it stays like that it is probably dead.
