Every time I go look at her she looks like she is posing for pictures.

("she" is just a she until she is big enough for me to know for real.) 20190706_190418.jpg 20190704_215652.jpg 20190704_215819.jpg

LOL Yeah her enclosure is a little bare right now due to a b. lat incident and me being stupid. I had to clean it out in order to retrieve the two b. lats and now she's started over after her fresh molt. It was much more covered and yes, the water dish was completely covered as well.

I brought her outside to feed her and she looks so pretty in the natural light.

I try not to say this too loud because I don't want to hurt her feelings, but OH MY WORD my baby has a huge butt. She is trying to look all fierce with her terrifying fangs, but all I can do is stare at her big butt. 20190806_214851.jpg

Yes, but how did her butt get so huge in the first place? Dem fangs.

This is truth. I do worry about her mental health though because she is the smallest spider, but she has the biggest butt. The other Ts have been wiggling their butts while they're eating. I think they are making fun of her. :p

Welcome our newest addition, Tigger. She is a b. smithi and so small! Sold as 3/4", but just too small to measure so we will go with that.

Rehouse from vial to enclosure went flawlessly. I feel like her enclosure is entirely too big, but we are going to go with it for now.

"That's MY cherry!"

Mocha (b. albo) has adopted this cherry as his favorite thing. I threw it in there to try to encourage the b. lateralis out that's hiding in the burrow. Whenever he gets spooked, he runs to the cherry like it's her blankie now. After he finished doing his business with the sperm web, he headed over to hang with the cherry. I almost feel guilty that I have to take it out today, but I don't want it to rot in there. Stupid b. lat is still hiding. Jerk.

The little goof will not let me take the cherry out!

Tigger is settling in nicely. Took a pinhead b. lateralis yesterday so no smashing heads for me! Thank you. Thank you tiny baby. And I was able to measure her today too. Not yet 3/4". So cute!

I know it's "do not disturb." I know it's what tarantulas do. I knoooow I shouldn't worry.

But.... gosh darnit MOLT ALREADY! This is my littlest sling and she's been locked up since I got her. She did eat one time and has a healthy size abdomen (as tiny as it is), but it's been two weeks. I have offered live food so it would run around up top and tempt her, but she ignores it so I take it out. Come on little Tigger. I can't hold my breath forever. :bigtears:

(she's a little over 1/2")

The other day I was going to post this and say that this one better molt soon or she's going to pop. Then this morning I woke up to a new spider. :)

T acrobatics. That's one way to keep from falling. Although today he fell straight into the water dish.

New baby! We attended our first expo today and brought back this beautiful C. versicolor. Her name is Chami.
