Keeping dubias - a few questions

I’m feeding them potato slices and they seem to like the one that I’ve put in there. I saw a video by Go Herping where he said to put one in there once a week, but how often should I remove the potato? I just looked at the one that’s currently in there, and it’s really dry.

Do they eat their own molts?

Potatoes don't last too long....sweet potato is better...as are carrots.

Don't look for a schedule...feed as needed...sometimes you may feed and it may be gone in hours, other times it may take a lot more time.

When they start to get moldy, sprout maggots, or get dry and shrivelled - or just a bit before.

If it looks like something you can't eat, it's probably time to take it out
