juvenile a. versicolor lays unfertilized eggsac

At least I thought of her as a juvenile. Not quite 3 ". I was very surprised to find this:

I couldn't get good pictures, but I'm pretty sure its an eggsac.

I Agree if it is Ill be Shocked I mean the smallest versi i got to drop a sac was 4" it was a Dud but still i can't see a barely 3" carrying Eggs i just can't LOL

It sure looks like some sort of white ball she's carrying. I will take it out when I get home from work and take some pictures.

This is a possibility. She is due for a molt and likes to eat them. It just looks so white to me. I'll let you know what I find

I took a picture of her once she retreated out of the tube web. As you can see, she is about 3 "

By my count there are 69 eggs, some already drying up.

I have had a few sacs over the years from smaller versi then that one.

My versi did the same thing last summer, I wasn't even sure she was a female until then. Pretty decent evidence though.

She is captive born. Got her as a sling from Botar about a year and a half ago, so she must be a little less than two years old. Pretty fast maturing. Due to the fact that she eats her molts, I wasn't 100% sure she was female until now.
