As the title says, today I received 4 2nd instar Hottentotta franzwerneri. They are adorable and too small to get any good pictures. Any tips on keeping them?
I'm keeping them on the clay/sand/coco fiber mix (without water added) because I stupidly mixed all of my substrate into that mix xD. I originally purchased 5 and got 1 freebie but 2 of them died during transit sadly. At least the majority survivedKeep them on mostly sand. Maybe a little coco. Keep them warm. VERY VERY slow growers. Easy to keep . Tough little scorps
These are definitely franzwerneri. The thing is is that they practically just got off their mother about 1-2 weeks ago I got them from a guy who knows what he's doing. You're sure these are franzwerneri? The pincers and metacarpals have a different color, body shape looks a little suspect too.
Thanks man! Completely forgot that Mark had those pages on his website!Hello everybody
You can keep them on sandy-loamy substrate. They also climb on Palmtrees or Walls for hiding.
