After how many months do you change the substrate of your desert scorpions???

I personal... never, just take out food left overs

I never really change mine unless I have a serious mite problem or a plant gets out of hand or some other disaster. The desert ones really only get changed if I feel like redecorating or a scorp dies. I am very vigilant about removing prey remnants or any bolus's(boli?) that I see.

With the tropical ones maybe a bit more frequently but I still don't change anything unless I have a a mess or or a plant gets out of hand...or one goes missing for a long time...then I dig it up only to find the scorp happily hunkered down in its burrow...its happy until I disturb it anyway..
