Hi,

I would like to warn everyone around about Joe Perry. I agreed to purchase several tarantulas from him on 1/29/05 and sent him a MO for $140. When he confirmed receipt of the MO, we agreed on a shipping date, but I never heard from him again. I have been trying to track Joe down, and in the process I managed to find his uncle who informed me that he hussled several people.

I have filed reports with the US Postal Inspector as well as the FBI, and will be filing charges with his local police department (Dallastown, PA) early this week. If you were hussled by him please file these reports as well, and feel free to contact me. If we get together on this there is a greater chance that we will see some money back. Thanks for your time!

Joe Perry information

Hi,

I also purchased that red knee, but also an avic versicolor. He took my $140 and I never heard back from him. I talked to his uncle who had this to say:

Chad have yopu heard anything at all from Joe?
This is his Uncle in Baltimore.
Joe scammed at least 2 other people out of cash and items in exchange for spiders promised that he never had.
As soon as he got your check he was gone the very next day
I suggest you press charges if possible. His mailing address is

I got no phone number for him. I did a reverse directory search and contacted people at that address they insist Joe isnt living there.
I ask you please to post on any spider sales boards that he is a thief and is not to be trusted.

If anyone else was taken in by this crook please report it to both the US Postal Inspector (if you sent anything via us mail, money, or otherwise) and the FBI at the links above. If you do both we are more likely that action will be taken against him.

Hey guys, I have already filed the US Postal Inspector, FBI and the Police report. If anyone else is a victom please do the same !!

Please don't post any of his personal information (phone number, address, ect..) so webmaster does not remove this link and we can keep this link alive so others don't fall victom to him.
