I’ve researched the care of this species and found that people have a lot of trouble keeping the offspring alive, despite prolific brood production.
I’m curious what those who have succeeded with multiple broods have done and also eager to read about failed attempt, so I can attempt new methods of rearing the wee ones. I can tell, from where they adults like to live, that they seem to enjoy warmer, barely moist, but not bone dry conditions. I would imagine Heterocentus junceus would make a fairly reasonable comparison for habitat and climate conditions. I expect Cuba gets quite a bit hotter, however.
