Is a screen lid dangerous to a vinegaroon?

Today I bought a giant vinegaroon at a reptile show. I also bought a kritter keeper that she is currently housed in, however I also have a nice glass tank with a fine metal screen lid which would look much better.
I know tarantulas can have a problem getting hooked onto mesh but don't know if any other inverts have the same problem.
What I'm asking is if it would be safe to set her up in the glass tank with screen lid instead.
Any input is appreciated.

Vinagaroons can't climb glass or plastic.
Yeah, but the amount of substrate I'm planning to add will probably allow her to reach the top of the tank if she stretched enough. The tank is about 7 inches tall and I was planning to give about 3 inches of substrate since I've read they're burrowers.
