I'm looking into buying a Neoholothele incei, and trying to find more information on the species. All that keeps coming up is Holothele incei. Was there a recent taxonomy change or am I mixing species up?

Yes, Holothele incei was reclassified as Neoholothele incei.

Another thing to note is that there is an "olive form" and "gold form" of this species. And, as opposed to most color variants in tarantulas, they are actually the same species. The gold color form is a recessive gene. Most people seem to prefer the gold form, but I actually like the olive.
