In Your Opinion (about a P.metallica)

The P.metallica sling we have had for 6 months and its kinda been a slow grower. I saw the metallica dorsal stripe and it looks like the black on the dorsal stripe is fading. We bought it in March at 1"-1.25" and since then it has only molted maybe 2-3 times. I am guessing its female because I hear males can mature in a yr. Course I know I can only sex it with a molt but its just a guess by a observation. What do yall think?

Tempatures and feeding schedules play a big part in the growth of a spider. Wait for a molt and have it sexed like that.

well with my 3 P met's, one has exhibited a marked difference in growth rate. It is almost one full molt ahead of it's two sibs and they are kept identical and pretty much fed the same, at the same time. We shall see
