Hobbyists are not the cause of this problem yet we are the ones being held responsible and accountable for it. However, I think many species of tarantulas and other invertebrates will eventually only exist because of hobbyists maintaining pure blood lines as loss of natural habit continues.

What annoys most is the general publics spelling of tarantulas... I did a presentation at my school about old world tarantula bites to break the annoying myth that all tarantula's have mild bites. This presentation was going to be graded by my peers and on the index card they would write what my project is called and what I could do to improve it. And on nearly every paper tarantula was spelled.... oh my the horror... I dont know if I should write this down but here goes nothing..... TRIANCHALU.

Yes a couple of things that are wrong!

Newkeeper think it is important to raise humidety before the tarantula moult!

Newkeeper thinks a bald spot is an indication for moulting!
