Bought some more shelving for what I thought was going to be a bunch more t’s. Sadly, that fell through but I’m keeping it anyways. Here it is next to my spider cabinet.

In other news, P. cambridgei molted. It put on almost an inch (it’s about, if not, 3” now). H. maculata also molted but doesn’t look any larger. Oh well.
You need to fill that shelving more ASAP

H. mac appears to be broken. Been out every night.

And here is my ever inquisitive P. cambridgei. It took the first water dish hostage, then moved one of the fake plants over the other one.

Here’s my C. versicolor, looking a lot better now:

And rehoused the P. vittata into something a little larger (it was absolutely cramped in that vial I found out):

And gave the O. schioedtei a new home in a tiny AMAC box:

It was hunkering down in the vial so I figured it would appreciate a small hide (the plastic leaves) and it took to it right away it seems.

They’ve all eaten too which I’m happy about.

Bit of a story with this one. Was seeing an inordinate amount of flies in my. P. subfusca HL enclosure. Couldn’t see any boli, so I decided to change out the substrate. Turns out the sub was rather soaked, probably due to wicking I wasn’t aware of. I had thought the water in the dish was just evaporating because it’s been rather dry AND I’ve been running the heater pretty often. Changed out the sub, and it threw up some rather impressive dirt curtains.

Hey, it’s the A. seemanni (it is a rather striking tarantula, and it has grown on me big time):

And some P. cambridgei legs:

Ok. So, I am rather excited that my C. lividus has started to burrow. And burrow she has. She went straight to the bottom. Hopefully she starts going horizontal but if not then oh well I suppose. Fun part is the bottom of her tunnel is within view because she cleared out a bit right in the side of the enclosure. Here’s a photo of the burrow:

Some happenings today. First and foremost I was a bit foolish (at least I think I was being unnecessarily foolish). I saw my P. vittata male hanging out and decided to open up the enclosure to snap a photo:

I won’t be doing so again, no need to risk anything but I’m rather happy with the photo especially since so much green came out. So, sorta worth.

Next up, the A. seemanni:

I decided to rehouse it. Yes, the enclosure is rather large for it. However, it was bulldozing all the sub in it’s old enclosure so I figured this one really wants to dig. I’m hoping it will tear up a storm in this one. Doesn’t seem stressed out with the space so far. If I notice any no bueno behavior though, I’ll go for something smaller.

It wasn’t very cooperative during the rehouse, which is fine, I’m just not stoked it looked so stressed out during the rehouse. It took a while to get it into a catch cup, which it then point blank refused to leave. Didn’t kick or throw up a threat pose but didn’t move at all when i tried to coax it out with a brush. Finally just left the catch cup in there and it made it’s way out.

Best photo I can really get of it. H. mac still broken. Only time it was reclusive was when it was smaller/it’s about to molt.

Tonight has been a good night. Saw my N. incei wandering. Then just caught it out again. I almost forget I have this one o.o.

In other news, I seriously need to invest in a better camera. I've said it before but it just needs to happen.
