my guess would be Otostigmus scaber on the first one,...
Sc.subsp.mutials on the second.
judging on locations and overall look,... which isn't very reliable !!!!

second one is impossible to ID with this pictures,...
maybe it's in the genus Scolopendra juding on spiracle shape ?

what we need:
- pictures of the side of the 1st one (to see the spiracle arrangement)
- close-up of the heads of both (headplate and 1st tergite)
that could give some info on the genus

- pictures of the ventral spine-arrangement of the ultimate legs of the second one,...
that could give more info regarding the specie of that one.

PS:Scorp_Lver
why do ya delete the possibility of Sc.morsitans from Signapore ?

i told u a month ago..............it's O.scaber

Hey Steven
u notice the stripes on the last few pair of legs of that Sc.sub. ssp? those look pretty familiar, isn't it?
i still don't think they(the brown head ones) are mutilans, but another variant or subsps of subspinipes

Hey Randolph,

yes, those look familiar,... but never judge on "looks" ;)

caco can only do United States centipedes and it is mostly through location data :)

can you get a pic of the underside of the last legs?

i should have said that before, sorry, i'm a bit of an idiot

again, not that i can do anything to help you.... but it's what the real centipede brains would ask for :)

they are looking at the spines/spikes

the count and placement of spikes is different in a lot of species and is the easiest way to tell some species and subspecies apart

if it has 15 legpairs, which it looks like it does then it is some kinda stone centipede. these make groovy little pets and actually live multiple years. they will scav so you can throw a piece of a larger cricket in there and it will be more than happy. they dry out really easy though so watch out
