Found these two at a con, sold as "dune scorpion" and scorpio maurus. The dune scorpion looks too orange for it to be mesaensis, someone suggested s. aridus. Unfortunately don't know locality. And I was wondering if the s. maurus was a palmatus too.

That's not aridus. Just mesaensis. aridus looks more like vachoni
note the lanky proportions, too. these guys are lithophiles and live on cliffs around talus slopes in portions of the coachella valley and anza borrego area
