Id help of scorpion found in utah

    When I went to Utah this summer, my grandpa and I went out and caught a scorpion and I am having a hard time identifying its species. Sadly I only got one photo of it before we let it go. Thanks in advance

    Paruroctonus boreus maybe? Not a big scorpion person but maybe ? Nice catch though !

    Perhaps P utahensis. Gravid it appears.

    My cousin dared me to, so I fried it in butter after freezing it then salted it. It was actually super good. I actually caught two scorpions there, but I let the other go like after a week,
