Huge Eratigena atrica.

Just found one of the largest male Eratigena atrica I have ever seen..... he was wonderful! Only caught him for a quick inspection then released him on his merry way! Just hope he doesn’t somehow make his way into my bed through the night.....

I would never keep a mature spider from the wild, possibly a sling, but there arent many interesting spiders here really.

He really is! there is a mature female in my garden behind the drain pipe who is also massive, I was tempted to release him near her but decided not to..... I regularly feed her if I have excess food from my tarantulas and she has no problem taking down a couple of crickets at a time.
