How to Catch Jumping Spiders

Hello Everyone, my name is Tycho.
I Wanted to know how i could spot jumping spiders in the forest and in/near houses without beating sticks, and blankets. How would I effectifly spot and catch one? I'm going to go to the forset, and will be searching around and in the house for them, but I didn't even see one. help me please.

They are normally in places with direct sunlight, and i normally use a tic tac container to catch mine.

I concur with what @HamZ said...I find them on the exterior walls of houses/sheds that get lots of sun...and I have found them even when the ambient temperature is quite cool outside, in the 50s F. I find them more often when it is warm, though.
