I'm going to be getting some Narceus americanus and want to know how to breed them. If anyone has any tips and tricks for breeding these guys it would be greatly appreciated. All the threads I've found have little to no specifics on what conditions or cycling they need to successfully breed or how long it takes.

My personal experience has been that as long as I focus my attention on keeping the enclosure healthy and nourishing for adults, they will take care of breeding on their own. Deep substrate (4+ inches) of rotting wood/leaves, surface leaf litter, and a variety of supplemental foods (fruits/veggies/live mosses/collected fungus and lichens). I've had babies appear in 4 to 6 months. It's taken 18 to 24 months to get the new generation over 2 inches long. They are an easy to breed species as long as the adults are happy, which is why there probably aren't that many "tricks" online. I've not found it to be tricky at all! :) Good luck and if you have success, post about it here
