Hey all, I was just curious, what kind of enclousres do you keep your big bad guys in?? Anyone ever have any escapes?? Like your Mayalsians, Viets, and Ricans, and Peruvians in?? What do you use for substrate??

My biggest at the moment is my Malaysian giant. It's currently in a 2 1/2 gallon tank. Probably not the safest enclosure as it would probably be able to make a break for it if it wished when I have the top off, but for the most part it seems pretty sedate unless I put prey in the tank which is when it explodes into motion.

As for substrate, I have all of my pedes on a peat/vermiculite mix with some having some green moss in the enclosures for added moisture retention.
