I've also had some surpisingly fast molts too....

My Heterometrus sp molted twice in less than 2 months and what is even stranger 2 of my D.lindo molted twice (L4-L5) in one month!!! what is strange about this is they didn't molted for a period of 1 year and all of a sudden they molted 2 times in 1 month!

Nikos,

D. lindo experience both, short and long molt periods. Typically, I4-I6 molts are of the shortest duration (depending on various factors), with early instars and later stages taking the longest.
I have 3 specimens that were born 10/X/2005 that have just molted to I4 this month, which is a surprisingly short period of time for this stage of development, which usually takes around 15-18 months (depending on various factors).
I also have a group of 11 D. peloncillensis I3 that last molted XI/2005 and show no signs of molting anytime soon!
