It was labeled as Scolopendra viridicornis so I assumed it was.

I thought that this scolopendra was the common viridicornis...untill I see steven pictures. At last one of the most beautiful pedes...

may i ask you from which part in Brazil you are exactually ?
and do you come across Scolopendrid centipedes often ?

i'm from north west brazil. there aren't many scolopendrids... lots of other centipedes that belongs to other familys but no scolopendromorphae.
but yes. i come across scolopendrid very often. in my room! hahahahahha
