Got a few in the mail today, so after I put them in their new enclosures and what not I decided what the heck and poked the male in the leg. Immediately it jumped around and grabbed ahold of my index finger and gave me a small bite. It was red around the area for a bite( few hours) and stung slightly followed by itching of course. Overall 1/10 on pain. No biggy.

The pain lasted about an hour Im guessing and was less painful than a bee sting. I was cutting grass and got mobbed on by yellow jackets yesterday.. so bee sting pain is very vivid in my mind right now. But the site on the bite turned dark red, and was very sore to the touch for 2 days.
