Hissers "aborting" their babies?

Lately, I noticed one of my hissers had a bunch of white (almost clear) babies hanging out of it. They have legs, they don't seem to be moving, and they're all still attached to each other.

Would that be the mother removing them due to stress? I recently tried to heat the tank and I guess I had gotten it too hot. So now I'm moving them to a somewhat cooler area.
